Under the anointing and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Isaiah promised that a child would be born and His name would tell His character. His names will be: Amazing Counselor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness. Isaiah 9:6-7 For a child has been born - for us!

And while it’s somewhat ambiguous whether or not this is the same child mentioned in Isaiah 7, both passages describe Jesus’ birth and character.
